DCU Surf’n'Sail@Clubs & Socs Day

DCU Surf’n'Sail is one of the University’s largest and most active clubs.  We had over two hundred registered members last year, so this year we want more!

Today & Tomorrow we’ll be located bang, smack in the middle of the Hub, next to the Nu Bar.  Just look out for the beach hut, decorated with Hula skirts, sailing gear, t-shirts, trip photos and even surfboards!!!!!!

What we have on offer today?  For each new member we want to give you a free concession card for Onboard and other cool stores.   Even if your not tempted to join up straight away, stop buy and grab a free Coke Zero and a handful of Jelly Beans!  You never know you might catch the gnarly vibe and never look back!!!!!!!!!

About DCU Surf’n'Sail

There’s to much to tell, so I’ll give you a taste!  For m0re info just stop by the Hub!!!!!!!

Every college year we organise at least two surfing trips to the West of Ireland and one abroad trip.  Lessons and gear are provided, not to mention the incumbent partying and socialising all you have to do is turn up.

The sailing team kick off their season this weekend with a trip to Wexford for the IUSA Easterns.  This year DCU are hosting a regional varsity event in Schull in conjunction with DIT.  It promises to be the event of the season.  Our Intervarsities take place in March and are not to be missed.  We train every Saturday, commencing Saturday the 17th October in Dun Laoighaire.  We have a fantastic talent of sailors ranging from accredited instructors to international representitives! With are slogan “Sail Hard, and Party Even Harder.”   This year is going to prove one to remember,  even more so than last years and the year before that………….
